As example, the Medicare Part A Benefit Period Deductible for inpatient Hospital Stays is $1676. It covers your first 60 days of a hospital stay, after which it converts to a daily copay. Medicare Part B has an Annual Deductible of $257.

Medicare limits a beneficary to paying 5 Part A deductibles annually. 95% of folks on Medicare pay 2 deductibles or less annually. These facts are nearly impossible to find in any official publication or on their website.
